Our Background

Where this series comes from, and why it is structured this way

The observation that started this

The people who came to us for help with productivity were not disorganized. They had systems. They had calendars blocked with purpose. They had task managers configured with care. And they were still exhausted by 2pm, still feeling like the day had slipped away despite being technically full.

That gap, between a well-managed calendar and a well-managed workday, is what Kezote Zavuyi was built to address. Time management and energy management are related but they are not the same thing. Filling time efficiently is not the same as using energy well.

The framework we use

This series is built around a straightforward premise: most professional depletion is structural, not personal. It is not about willpower or discipline. It is about how the workday is designed and what it asks of the human nervous system.

We identify four categories of structural energy drain that appear consistently across different roles, industries, and work arrangements. Each category has identifiable causes and addressable adjustments. The webinar format lets us go deep on one category at a time, with enough specificity to be actually useful.

Why webinars, not a book or a course

Books on this topic are plentiful. Long courses are plentiful. What is harder to find is a focused, live session where you can ask a specific question about your specific situation and get a specific answer.

The webinar format also creates a natural constraint. Ninety minutes on one topic forces precision. It forces us to prioritize the adjustments that actually move the needle rather than the ones that are interesting to discuss. Every session is built around the question: what can this person do differently starting tomorrow?

Recordings are available for all sessions. The live format is preferred because the Q&A portion often produces the most useful material, but the recorded version includes the full session content.

How we approach the content

Each session is built from a specific set of questions. What is the mechanism by which this drain operates? What are the conditions that make it worse? What changes to those conditions produce a noticeable difference? How do you measure whether the change worked?

We do not offer motivational content. We do not offer general wellness advice. The sessions are analytical and practical. They assume you are a capable professional who needs specific information, not encouragement.

The four drains

  • Meeting load and structure
  • Context switching frequency
  • Emotional labor demands
  • Physical environment variables

What each session includes

  • Conceptual framework (how the drain works)
  • Diagnostic questions for your situation
  • Specific adjustments ranked by impact
  • A worksheet for implementation
  • A tracking method for the following week
